Well, Ive been back since Monday actually but with the unpacking (and now with a rubbish cold, boo) I havent really got round to it.

We went down on the Wednesday and got there just after lunch. It was packed already! So trying to find a space for 7 tents was a challenge but I don think we faired to badly. Apparently, there was 85,000 there by Thursday morning! Had to walk about a mile carrying the stuff from the car but it was worth it in the end.

Let the boy set up the tent as I would only be getting in the way and he seemed reasonably ok to be doing it!

Unless youve actually been, you cannot prepare yourself for just how big the site is. There is always something going on, whether it be music or otherwise, so you can never be bored. Walking around and seeing everything is quite a challenge too, and knackers you out quite easily! But its definately worth it.

Heres a little write up of some of the bands/people I saw whilst I was there:-

The Subways - average. Theyre good but not really anything outstanding.

Kings of Leon - amazing. They did an absolutely faultless set and were pure brilliance.

Vampire Weekend - fantastic. These are going to be huge now after Glasto and they had a huge turn out, just great music.

Amy Winehouse - appalling. How anyone could say that this was a great set was obviously watching something else! An absolute shambles the girl is a mess and a huge disappointment for the thousands that turned out to watch her.

Does it Offend You, Yeah? - love this band! Their album is ridiculously good so I was really looking forward to seeing them and they didnt disappoint.

There was a few others I went to see too, but I will be here all day listing everything!

It really was such a fantastic experience, and Im gutted to be back to reality, its shit! I cant wait until next year to do it all over again, and Im even going Reading in August too.

The festival life is definately for me! :D
