I got in touch with an old friend last Thursday through Facebook. She is an ex-girlfriend of my brothers. They split up about 8 years ago, and we lost touch because she lived quite far away from us.

But she found me on Facebook, and I spoke to her on the phone last night. I cant believe how amazing it felt to talk to her. For some reason it made me so happy, and a little bit emotional. Im not quite sure why, but we have so much to catch up on, and it feels like it was a part of me I didnt even realise was missing.

Im glad I have her back in my life, friends like her (and the others I have) are hard to find, and I want to keep them all.
