The Life of Mouth

I have just preordered Maximo Parks new album which is out in a couple of weeks, and also Dan Browns new book which isnt out until September!

But still, nice to know I have goodies in the pipeline.

Not so good is my payslip. Am losing £40 a week due to short time

Tis no fun I tell ye, new job needed pronto!

You may or may not be aware that I have signed myself up to do the London 10000 run on 25th May this year. Some kind folk have already sponsored me which I wasnt expecting.

The trouble is, I just dont think Im ready. Everytime I go for a jog I end up walking most of it as I feel so unhealthy and cant breathe properly.

Im so annoyed with myself, because I feel like Im letting everyone (including myself) down. I dont feel like Ive put the effort in that I needed to, and I could cry.

It means so much to me to do it, but I just dont know if I physically can. I hate feeling so unmotivated, and Im just angry with myself

We've just been told that we're being put on short time next week. We will be working 4 days a week for the foreseeable, with them reviewing the situation on a weekly basis.

This is hopefully to stop the need for any redundancies, but only if the sales go up because we are struggling.

Money wise, it wont leave us short, we'll still be able to do everything we were doing. But obviously, I would like to keep some money behind us just in case things turn bad.

Im staying optimistic, because theres no point in being down about it! I still have a job at the end of the day, and in times like this its a good thing

This is our new cat! Hes called Merlin, hes nearly 3 years old and hes lovely

We have nicknamed him Tuxedo Cat because of his colouring

Hello! Havent been here for a while! Was busy packing, moving then unpacking!

We are all settled in our new place now Im having to get up earlier for work though which has taken its toll this week, thank god its Easter!

I will post some pictures of the new place when we get interwebs at home next week.

I am very excited as we are getting a cat tomorrow! His name is Merlin and we are adopting him from my cousin, I will post pictures of him too when we have him!

So how is everyone? What have I missed?

Sorry i havent wrote for a while, two reasons;

a) I am moving friday, so have been packings

and b) my gaylord housemate has somehow broken the interwebs But i am here sometimes!

Anyway, hope you are all keeping well! Will be here much more when i move and have a decent internet connection!

We have taken that flat we looked at!

Filled in the forms, and got all the necessary paperwork together and the boy is going to drop it off tomorrow. They only want three references but they dont do a credit check, which I thought was a standard procedure It doesnt matter anyway, because (fingers crossed) there shouldnt really be any issues.

So the next two weeks are going to be full of packing boxes borings! Already hunting for furniture, just need a sofa now!

Im very excited, the start of a new beginning, and it feels fantastic!

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bored again today. Work is slow, theres nothing to do for anybody.

Trying not to use the internet, but i might lose the will to live completely if i dont do something.

Im on a diet, Im hungry, apples and water cut arent cutting it at the moment. Need a burger.

Im excited about tomorrow though because we are going to relook at a flat we looked at last week! I hope noone else gets in there first, I will be so upset!
